January 2014 Machine Quilting

A big thanks to Jill Miskin for sharing her quilt journey with us this month. She brought so many beautiful quilts that she has learned to finish on her home brother machine, as well as her Simply experience. It's always so revealing to share so much of ourselves through our creations and I appreciate always seeing everyone's show and tell each month. You are all such beautiful people who make important quilts, no matter the purpose or size.

We even had some samplers and medallions shown. Wahoo! If you are comfortable having your medallion (in whatever phase it's in) shown at QuiltBLISS, and we certainly hope you will trust us with it, please let one of us know and we will connect to get it at the store before the 26th.

Again, if you have a quilt blog or instagram account (and it's ok if you don't!), please let us know so we can list it in the sidebar. We'd love to follow what you're doing at home, too.

We also talked briefly about the economy blocks that are sweeping the internet right now, thanks to Ginger Monkey and Pink Castle Quilts. There are still some packs of focus fabrics at the shop if you're interested. To see Red Pepper Quilt's post, click here

Please remember February 3rd is the beginning of Session 6 sign ups. We would sincerely love to see each of you back, and we welcome new friends as well. It' important to us that this group be a safe, fun place to share your quilts and mistakes and ideas, and be inspired. Thank you for joining us along our journey, too!

QuiltBLISS Mix & Mingle

Thanks to those of you who came to our Mix & Mingle Saturday night. We are really excited for the retreat later this month (have I mentioned that yet?) and it was fun to meet some of the quilters who will be joining us.
The QuiltBLISS Team: Pamela, me, JoyLyn & Anna

And if you haven't had the chance to check out Harmony in Provo, you must.
